3 split test changes that increased CVR by 75% and added 47k in profit in 48 hours (and helped hit 1M/month)

Today I want to show you how during a 1 hour call with Peter, we could help a client:

• Increase conversion rates from an average of 8% to as high as 14% on their webinar (a 75% increase). That jump happened with just 3 split tests.

• See 33 more buyers than average. Our client was averaging around 65 buyers per webinar for a $1497 offer. After implementing the changes Peter suggested, that number jumped to 98 buyers (a 66% increase)

• Add an extra $47k in sales. Despite having less than 40% of the leads our client had on the previous webinar, he could STILL outperform it with an extra $47k in sales.

Let’s breakdown the 3 split tests we made for the client so you can see exactly how we generated these results:

Split Test 1 – Change To The Headline

The old headline desperately needed a change, and we knew that before even hopping on the call with Peter.

Before it was:

“Learn How We Scaled To $100k + Per Month In Passive Cash Flow With YouTube”

No dimensional benefits to the reader, mechanism to show how the client was different to other YouTube gurus and boring to read.Surprised the page was even converting at 8% with this headline.

So on the call with Peter, he showed us how to:

  1. Reframe it to benefit the reader
  2. Add a better claim to the headline
  3. Get people sold on our clients mechanism of making money with YouTube

Right after this call we knew we needed to implement this headline change ASAP.

So after applying what Peter suggested, we came up with:

This new headline hit on the 3 points Peter said was missing from the copy:

• Reframe to benefit the reader – “To Building A 6 Figure Per Month Income Stream”

• Add a better claim – “6 Figure Income Stream Posting Automated Videos”

• Add our clients mechanism to get people sold – “Faceless Fortune Formula”

Changing this headline and improving the top fold ALONE did 80% if the needle moving in boosting our clients conversion rates.

Split Test #2 – Revamping the offer stack

Our client’s offer stack was weak with no unique benefit of why the audience should pick their program over other solutions in the market.

It started with:

  • “Brand deal mastery”
  • “Viral video secrets”
  • “Monetization Accelerator”

In Peter’s own words he said “there’s no unique difference between what customers are receiving with each offer component”

That’s where we came in…

We rewrote all the copy for the offer stack and replaced them with stronger components.

That way the offer got perceived as significantly MORE valuable to the audience.

These simple changes were the difference between our client collecting an extra 33 buyers on his next webinar while driving just 40% of the traffic to the page he had before.

There was nothing fancy about adding this order form, it probably took 30 minutes to implement.

But oh boy, did it make a difference to conversions!

Split Test #3 – Redirecting To An Order Form

Immediately after adding this order form and sending all webinar traffic to it, we saw that 57% increase in sales.

The reason being?

Anyone landing on a page directly from a webinar is super warm and ready to buy.

And Peter said: “I think testing direct to checkout page would be worth a test”

So instead of bombarding them with “offer stacks” that they’ve already seen on the webinar…

Or longer form copy that delays checking out and makes them rethink whether they want to purchase.

We sent them straight to a simple checkout page like this:

48 hours later: 47k in additional revenue and 1M/month

And just 2 days after the call and implementing those changes, our client saw an additional $47k in sales in the webinar while having LESS attendees than the week before!

This has now also pushed him closer to hitting record numbers like a million dollars in a month:
